Free-Markets is featured at VOLVO Cars Asia Pacific Sustainable Development Technology Day 2021
On July 21, Volvo in the Volvo car Asia Pacific headquarters in Shanghai, China, held a “focus on the whole value chain for climate action” as the theme of Volvo’s Asia-pacific sustainable development of science and technology, 2021.
More than 18,000 supplier representatives participated in this year’s events and exchanges, both online and offline. The supplier Sustainable Development Technology Exhibition has three theme exhibition areas: battery and charging area, metal area, and recyclable materials area. 24 enterprises show their innovative technologies and products in the field of sustainable development.
Anders K Rrberg, head of global sustainability and Group Strategy at Volvo Cars, said: “Earlier this year, the Chinese government articulated a carbon neutral target by 2060, and it is very encouraging to see how China and its industry are now treating sustainability. This is good news not only for China, but also for the rest of the world. We strongly encourage local and regional governments to invest more in renewable energy, as it is fundamental to achieving climate neutrality. It will make local industries more competitive.”
